Online Registration Opens Sunday March 15, 2026
Cheer Registration Includes:

2 Game-Day Bow's

Kick-pants, socks, game-day bows & warmups are your Childs to keep permanently (additional $175 fee); The vest, sleeves, skirt must be returned at the end of the season. A $200 refundable volunteer deposit is required for each cheerleader at the time of registration. Military & Multi-Family Discounts Are Available!


Not included but required: All white cheer shoes and white, no-show socks

Time Commitment (TBD but will look similar to 2025 SEASON)
THE FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE WILL BE JULY 27, 2026

The whole month of August: 2 hours per night (5:30-7:30p), 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) NO FRIDAYS as of 8/28. (TBD)

September - November: 2 hours per night, 3 days per week based on the specific squad (NO FRIDAYS) Football will be allowed Saturday Walk throughs through the season, while cheer might hold a Saturday practice the week prior to Competition in October, when there is not a conflicting Panther event & one game every Sunday Possible Saturday based on hosting League. Cheer competition will be a Saturday during the season TBD. Cheer will be allowed 10 hours of practice the week cheer competition. Along with 12 hours can be added for any choreography planned outside the standard practice day, which will or can include a Saturday practice.

NBYFC Cheerleading Squads by Age

Playing age of a cheerleader is determine by their age on August 1st of the current year. The age you are as of August 1st is your player age all season, regardless of birthday. 

Cheerleaders are only bound by age limitations; the weight limitations do not apply.

There are no older/lighters in cheer.

REFUND POLICY

Petaluma Panther Refund Policy

A full refund of registration dues will be given before July 26th which is the day prior to the first day of practice, or the cancellation of the season.

50% refund will be given until the last day of the first week of practice. This year is 7/31/2026.

0% (NO) refund will be given AFTER the first week of practice.

No refunds (EVER) on any personalized equipment.

System generated fees from the registration site, purchased insurance, will also not be able to be refunded.
