Dear New and Returning Families,
Welcome to the Petaluma Panthers 2024 Football and Cheer season! The Panthers Board of Directors thanks you in advance for your commitment to making Panther Football and Cheer a fun, safe, and positive experience for your son/daughter. We are very excited to see our amazing student athletes, dedicated volunteer coaches, and wonderful parents back on the field.
Listed below are some basic rules/tenants that will be enforced throughout the season, and we anticipate additional guidelines regarding COVID-19:
- Players/cheerleaders are required to be at all practices and games (with/wearing the appropriate equipment/uniform/attire).
- Parents are responsible for dropping off/picking up their son/daughter on time.
- Players/cheerleaders will respect their coaches and listen and follow their coaches’ instructions.
- Players/cheerleaders will not chew gum or eat food during practices or games.
- No swearing is allowed on or off the field.
- No name calling. This is a team sport, and we expect participants to treat one another with respect.
- No smoking, alcohol, drugs, or dogs/pets allowed on or around game or practice fields/areas/facilities.
- Families are required to volunteer 10 hours per participant (or opt out by paying the $200 fee). All fees will be collected at the start of the season and will be refunded upon the completion of the season, once all uniform and gear have been collected, and only if volunteer hours were complete by the end of the season which are tracked on the track-it-forward app. Failure to do so will result in no return of the refund you signed up for.
Important Dates:
- We are currently working with other NBYFC Organizations to finalize our season, STAY TUNED!!!
Please note. Any player or cheerleader who misses more than 3 practices in July or August for non-medical reasons can be removed from the active roster and placed on the bottom of the waiting list. It is imperative, for the safety of all our players/cheerleaders, that participants consistently attend practices and conditioning. During the season you are also required to attend all practices given by your coach as this is a team sport and all players hold a important position on their team.
No refunds will be issued after the first two weeks of practice, with the exception of a cancelled season due to unforeseen circumstances by the Petaluma Panthers Youth Football & Cheer.
